Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Ocean Engineer in Maryland to provide technical advisory support for Magnetic Silencing Facility (MSF) and Underwater Electromagnetic (UEM) projects. You will contribute across lifecycle phases from conception to retirement, coordinating with naval customers and site teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Ocean Engineering or related field and a minimum of 10 years' experience with U.S. Navy programs, plus an active secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Ocean Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of collective technical and management experience with U.S. Navy programs or similar.
• Must have an active secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advisory support across MSF/UEM lifecycle phases.
• Support system lifecycle decision gates including SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR and TRR.
• Collaborate with NSWCCD Code 75 and other sponsors.
