Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Senior Therapist to support the Director of Rehab in clinical management of rehabilitation services across assigned accounts, including facility and home care settings. You will assess needs, develop and deliver therapy programs, and refer to other disciplines to meet patient goals.

You will educate patients and caregivers to promote independence, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality rehab services while supporting program development and inter-disciplinary

Qualifications

• ACOTE-accredited OT degree required.
• Initial NBCOT registration and state licensure.
• Broad knowledge of Medicare/billing practices.
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
• Active OT license in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Rehab in clinical management of rehab services.
• Deliver individualized therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation.
• Refer to other disciplines to address patient needs.
• Instruct and educate patients and caregivers to promote independence.
• Supervise staff and ensure timely documentation of services.
• Support development of therapy staff and clinical programs.
• Attend meetings and share information as directed by DOR.
