Job summary

STONERIVER is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients promptly after referral, develop effective treatment plans, and coordinate with the care team. The role includes supervising COTA and aides, ensuring documentation compliance, and contributing to discharge planning and caregiver training.

The ideal candidate holds a state-licensed OT credential and a bachelor’s degree, with a preference for advanced degrees.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state.
• Maintain licensure in good standing with the state board and CE requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Proficient in OT documentation and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral and develop a treatment plan.
• Supervise COTA, aides and students and coordinate with nursing staff.
• Record evaluations and treatment notes per policy and state regulations.
• Assist in discharge planning and caregiver training for home programs.
• Participate in interdepartmental meetings and staff training.
