Job summary

The role requires a Maryland OT license, CPR certification, and a track record of using evidence-based OT techniques across ADL, cognitive, sensorimotor, and psychosocial domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus five years of occupational therapist experience, or Master’s Degree, or Doctorate of OT, required.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist with the State of Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene required.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive initial evaluation using standardized and non-standardized tests.
• Identifies problems and formulates individual treatment plans with observable goals.
• Treats patients individually or in groups using OT methods and activities.
• Assesses progress and adjusts treatment plans as needed.
• Provides instructions to patients and caregivers for home exercise and time management.
