Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison for Obesity in Arizona to serve as a primary scientific resource for OLs, PHDMs and other healthcare providers, executing Amgen Medical strategy to improve patient outcomes.

The role is field-based within the U.S. Medical team, reporting to the Obesity MSL Lead, with responsibilities spanning scientific exchange, investigator engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to advance obesity programs.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 2 years Medical Affairs experience required.
• Masters degree with 6 years Medical Affairs experience required.
• Bachelor's degree with 8 years Medical Affairs experience required.
• Pharm.D./Ph.D./M.D. or D.O. preferred; cardiometabolic/obesity expertise advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Peer-to-peer activities with obesity Opinion Leaders and PHDMs to discuss scientific platform.
• Engage with clinical investigators and sites to support the obesity pipeline.
• Engage with PHDMs within IDNs and institutions to communicate data of clinical value and outcomes.
• Coordinate external/internal stakeholders to extend Amgen's reach for patients.
• Provide and present scientific data compliant with MSL standards.
• Lead and participate on project teams to support MSL strategies.

Education
