Job summary

SK hynix memory solutions America Inc. in San Jose is seeking an experienced test engineer to design and execute NVMe/OCP/PCIe test plans for enterprise SSD products.

You will perform DVT testing, analyze failures, work with 3rd-party vendors, and stay current with NVMe trends, AI-assisted productivity, and internal tooling.

This onsite role requires 5+ years in data storage and a CS/EE degree; competitive benefits and a strong engineering team await.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data storage/enterprise SSD/NVMe.
• Strong NVMe admin/I/O, PLP, and OOB knowledge.
• Experience with NVMe/OCP/PCIe testing methods.
• Experience with Linux/ESXi/Windows Server is a plus.
• Ability to read PCIe traces and signals.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans per NVMe/OCP/PCIe specs.
• Perform DVT testing and track defects.
• Analyze failures and identify root causes.
• Coordinate with 3rd-party vendors for tests.
• Keep current with NVMe/OCP/PCIe features and AI tools.
