Job summary

SK hynix memory solutions America Inc. is seeking a seasoned tester to drive NVMe/PCIe validation for data storage products in a fast-paced enterprise environment. You will design comprehensive test plans, perform DVT cycles, and collaborate with development teams to resolve complex issues.

The role emphasizes automation with JavaScript and Python, and leveraging AI tools to boost productivity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in Sunnyvale and nearby facilities to ensure robust

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in the data storage industry (enterprise SSD/NVMe preferred).
Strong NVMe concepts knowledge: Admin and I/O commands, PLP, and OOB interfaces.
Familiarity with NVMe/OCP/PCIe test methodologies and the ability to capture PCIe traces.
Experience with Linux, ESXi, and Windows Server OS environments is a plus.
Proficient in developing automation scripts (JavaScript, Python) and using AI tools to boost productivity.

Responsibilities

Develop test plans for devices/systems based on NVMe/OCP/PCIe specs and customer requirements.
Perform DVT testing for release and test firmware; execute suites, report results, file defects.
Analyze failures, identify root causes, and collaborate to resolve challenges.
Engage with 3rd-party vendors for test suite updates, tooling, and platform troubleshooting.
Stay current on new features from NVMe/OCP/PCIe and leverage AI tools to improve efficiency.
