Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; six months of food handling, service, preparation and/or cashiering experience or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Card within 30 days of employment.
• Knowledge of customer service, basic math, and kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking foods, including panning frozen food, cupping fruit, washing and bagging produce, baking, chopping salad items, and monitoring temperatures.
• Collect money for lunches, balance cash drawers, and assist with daily cash reports.
• Serve and replenish food supply and maintain clean cafeteria and kitchen areas.
• Prepare cafeteria for meals, rotate foods, ensure utensils and napkins are available, and set up serving areas.
