Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations across Retail, Patient Services, Catering, and Production. You’ll ensure safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance while supervising staff and driving efficient scheduling and cost control.

The role partners with the Director of Nutrition Services to plan, budget, and grow departmental initiatives, with opportunities to lead special events and improve patient-centered service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare nutrition services management.
• Driver’s License required to drive Augusta Health vehicles.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and meet Virginia state employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations in Retail, Patient Services, Catering, and Production.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local health regulations and accreditation standards.
• Supervise staff and review scheduling to optimize labor utilization and productivity.
• Maintain accurate cost records to evaluate past, present and future plans.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nutrition Services on daily management, planning and growth.
• Plan and produce special events and activities to break the cafeteria monotony.
