Description

The Diet Coordinator maintains information regarding patient diet orders, menus, special requests, meal counts and other necessary records. In addition to patient-centered activities, the diet coordinator responds to all incoming phone calls, voice messages, and faxes and effectively relays all information. Works under minimal supervision of the Manager.

Required Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training: On the job training provided.
  • Upon hire: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority.
  • Food service experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hospital or healthcare facility experience.

These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
