Job summary

The Bridges of Hendricks Creek is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our culinary team and provide nutritious, high-quality meals for residents. You will assist with meal service, follow dietary plans, and help ensure a warm dining experience in a supportive senior living environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Experience in a food service role is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Able to follow directions and work efficiently as part of a team.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation, portioning, and serving to residents per dietary plans and requests.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas; wash dishes and equipment as needed.
• Provide meal assistance and help with meal setup to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Follow all food safety protocols including storage, handling, and sanitation.
• Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies; notify Dietary Manager of shortages.
• Work with the dietary team to ensure smooth kitchen and dining operations and assist with prep and service.
• Support residents by honoring individual dietary needs during meals.
