Job Summary

The Senior Nursing Projects Manager is the frontline leader of Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt Health Staffing office. The role bridges the gap between daily tactical scheduling and high-level clinical strategy. It has oversight and accountability of the staffing office and ensures there is relationship building and strategic alignment with the Nurse Managers that they support.
They will be responsible for independently leading projects and projects teams that support the strategic or operational goals of VUMC nursing. Identifies and assesses appropriate resources and creates timelines to ensure appropriate completion of projects. Coordinates the activities of teams by becoming familiar with systems scope and project objectives, as well as the role and functions of each team member. Collaborates with key nursing and system stakeholders to create standard processes that facilitate projects and programs.
