Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College’s School of Nursing in Sellersburg, IN seeks a full-time nursing faculty member to instruct in Practical Nursing and ASN programs, advise students, and support curriculum development. Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience as a registered nurse.
• Current, unencumbered Indiana RN license.
• Master's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution.
• Or a Bachelor's degree in Nursing with a written academic plan to complete a Master's.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classes using pedagogy and technology to support learning.
• Develop and maintain curriculum aligned with course objectives and program outcomes.
• Maintain student records, attendance, and grades.
• Ensure a safe classroom environment and adherence to policies.
• Help students achieve program learning outcomes.
• Use Canvas or similar LMS to teach, assess, and communicate.
• Provide academic advising and monitor student progress.
• Support recruitment, retention, and completion of programs.
• Participate in professional development and scholarly activities.
• Engage in community relations and college outreach.
• Support committees and accreditation-related projects.
