Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina seeks an experienced Nursing Clinical Coordinator to lead Medical/Telemetry nursing teams and implement innovative resources for care delivery. The role oversees staffing, standards adherence, and collaboration between support and clinical services.

40-hour week schedule with flexible staffing support as needed. BSN preferred with 3 years nursing experience, including ambulatory care exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited school; three years nursing experience
• BSN preferred; Ambulatory Care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct line management and leadership for Medical/Telemetry patient care areas
• Ensure standards of nursing practice are followed and act as interface between support and clinical services
• Facilitate care delivery system development and operation, including staffing and professional delivery of services
• Must be present for twenty percent of staffing needs as they arise
