An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly, motivated, enthusiastic and caring individual to join Ward 8 surgical team here at UHNM based at the County site.
Ward 8 will be expanding. The brand new purpose-built state of the art Surgical Day Case unit now requires more dedicated and caring Band 3 Senior Clinical Support Workers to join their Team.
Ward 8 specialises in Day Case Surgery, Surgical procedure requiring recovery over a 24 hr period. Due to the diverse variety of surgery procedures that take place on Ward 8 we are able to offer a wealth of learning opportunities.
The Surgical Division prides itself on having dedicated enthusiastic, high skilled quality driven staff. You should have a keen interest in the above specialities and in turn, we will provide you with a robust induction to the area, a friendly and welcoming team that will support you in your journey with us. You will have the opportunity to learn from existing staff members, the CNS teams as well as the chance to see surgeries first hand.

The role of this Band 3 Nursing Assistant post is unit based, and the post holder will therefore, be required to cover a 24/7 shift pattern. Duties will include direct patient care to maintain the activities of daily living under the supervision of qualified nursing staff, whilst maintaining the safety, welfare and dignity of patients at all times.
