Job summary

The State of Delaware Department of State is offering a Recruitment and Referral Incentive program for clinical nursing positions, including Registered Nurses, Advanced Practice Nurses, Nurse Consultants, Nursing Supervisors, Compliance Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants.

This role focuses on advanced professional training and education, coordinating courses, services, and activities for employees and partners, with emphasis on data-driven evaluation and ongoing

Qualifications

• Possession of a Delaware Registered Nurse license OR multi-state compact license.
• Two years’ experience delivering training or education courses, services, individual or group activities using a variety of materials and equipment.
• One year of experience in preparing and maintaining training or education records and reports such as course schedules, rosters, training updates or records of participation.
• One year of experience in researching, selecting and designing courses, curricula, lesson plans, instructional methods, materials, or activities to meet training or education needs and learning objectives.
• One year of experience in creating methods and tools to analyze and evaluate training or education needs and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and delivers a variety of training and/or education courses, services, and activities such as instructor-led classroom, on-the-job or virtual training, workshops, or individual and group activities.
• Organizes and prepares materials and equipment such as exercises, handouts, manuals, laptops, audiovisual or specialized equipment, or other resources.
• Researches and selects or recommends the method of delivery, materials, equipment, assistive technology, or activities to promote learning considering evidence-based and best practices.
• Coaches others and provides feedback that fosters learning, understanding or improved performance.
• Collects and analyzes data through surveys, course evaluations, interviews, specialized assessments, meetings, and other methods to evaluate quality and effectiveness and identify needs, requirements, issues, and challenges.

Education

Delaware Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license

Two years’ experience delivering training or education courses

One year of experience in preparing and maintaining training or education records and reports

One year of experience in researching, selecting and designing courses, curricula, lesson plans, instructional methods, materials, or activities

One year of experience in creating methods and tools to analyze and evaluate training or education needs and effectiveness
