Job summary

Kuresmart is seeking a Lead Registered Nurse to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating nursing services. This role supports policy updates and ensures high-quality nursing care across the facility.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, maintaining documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, proper equipment operation, and leading infection prevention and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field of study.
• Three (3) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least one (1) year in an administrative nursing role; OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Must have knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
• Must possess and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which the employee practices, or must hold a nursing license within a compact eligible state.
• Must possess a current ACLS and BLS certification.
• Must possess and maintain certification as an Infection Preventionist.
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, including exceptional customer service.
• Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with doctors, clinical staff, other co-workers and the public.
• Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Must be able to respond with patience and understanding during stressful conditions related to patient health and emergent situations.
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize.
• Must demonstrate extreme attention to detail.

• Deploys and integrates operational processes within quality programs
• Oversees quarterly reports, drills and binders/logs
• Participates in safety, infection control, and quality committees
• Completes quarterly peer reviews and infection prevention assessments
• Manages emergency/disaster Preparedness procedures
• Manages incident reporting and radiation badge program
• Travels as needed to assignments
