Job summary

TRISO-X is seeking a Subcontract Technical Manager to own the technical backbone of subcontract oversight for nuclear-grade fuel fabrication. You will manage cost, schedule, and performance of subcontracted work, ensuring compliance with NQA‑1 and 10 CFR requirements while coordinating engineering, quality, procurement, and licensing inputs.

Location is Oak Ridge, TN, with five days onsite. The role requires 10+ years in program management and 5+ years managing multi‑million dollar subcontracts

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in program/project management with at least five years of subcontract management in a complex technical environment.
• Experience in nuclear, defense, aerospace, or other highly regulated industries.
• Demonstrated success managing subcontracts valued at $5M+ with technical, schedule, and quality complexity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day subcontract execution to align with technical and contractual requirements.
• Monitor cost, schedule, and performance against baselines and validate subcontractor progress.
• Coordinate with engineering, project controls, quality, procurement, and licensing to resolve issues in real time.
