We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to be based out of our Chicago, IL office. This position offers the opportunity to utilize and expand your engineering background and provides a clear path for professional growth. You will participate in and eventually lead quality assurance audits, work with project teams on problem identification and resolution, support procurement activities, and assist in developing and executing project quality plans.

Additional duties include managing quality assurance personnel, training employees, controlling purchased items and services, verifying corrective actions, data analysis, trending, and root cause analysis. The focus is on engineering, design, and consulting. The role may require approximately 10-15% domestic travel for audits, surveillance, and inspections.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with three days in the office and two days remote each week.

Qualifications

Essential skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program or related academic experience
• Five or more years of experience in quality within the nuclear or another regulated industry
• Proficiency with MS Office applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical reasoning

Valued but not required:

• NQA-1 Audit Team Leader Certification
• Previous Quality Assurance Manager experience
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, and designation as an Engineer in Training or a Professional Engineering License

Compensation Range

$78,400.00 - $119,850.00
