Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, is seeking a Project Scheduler in Ohio to maintain and develop schedules for online and outage projects. You will coordinate with site work groups, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely execution and cost efficiency.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Projects, you will archive schedules after completion and support health reports and reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related technical field (preferred).
5+ years of experience.
Proficient in P6, Microsoft Project and other scheduling tools.
Experience with nuclear operation and processes.

Responsibilities

Develop schedules for online and outages following fleet/station standards.
Work with other work groups/vendors (onsite and offsite) to identify and collect necessary information to support schedule development and quality.
Coordinate activities of site work groups, site organization, or vendors through and into the project schedule, providing scheduling support.
Coordinate activities to minimize equipment/system out of service time and Technical Specification Action Conditions and to minimize plant risk.
Communicate schedule issues/conflicts promptly to the Site Manager of Projects and the Project Manager.
Attend project team member meetings and reports out on the schedule.
Support the development and updating of the Project Health Reports (PHRs) in preparation for the Project Review Committee (PRC) meetings.
