Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services seeks an Advanced Project Manager with nuclear plant construction experience. The role is a 6-month contract with hybrid work, in-office 2 days and remote 3 days, or fully remote if not near the Pittsburgh area.

You will report to the Senior Manager of Global Engineering Operations, leading planning, execution and closing activities while driving project profitability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
• 5 years of experience as a project manager leading medium/high complexity projects.
• 3 years in technical/engineering roles or 2 years as project manager.
• 6–10 years of PM experience in technical industries like engineering or construction.
• PMI's Project Management Body of Knowledge experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan all aspects of the project, including defining scope, schedule and baselines.
• Manage profitability, resource acquisition, and end-to-end project execution.
• Oversee cost expenditures and earned value reporting to support performance.
• Close projects and archive artifacts, capturing lessons and improvements.
• Develop relationships with customers, suppliers and teams to achieve success.
