Job summary

Hatch Ltd. in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist for Nuclear Projects to lead pre-award activities, supplier selection, and bid evaluation for large EPCM initiatives.

You will collaborate with project teams to optimize procurement strategies and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The role requires extensive nuclear project experience, strong negotiation skills, and a track record of driving procurement efficiencies across complex equipment and materials

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. lawful permanent resident.
• 10+ years in progressive procurement roles.
• Proven procurement experience in nuclear projects.
• Familiar with NQA-1 and N286 standards.
• Experience in DOD/DOW is an asset.
• Experience in Design/Supply and EPCM projects.
• Related training in Contracts/Legal and general project management.
• Good understanding of procurement terms and conditions and governance.

Responsibilities

• Perform procurement and expediting tasks to support Hatch EPC and EPCM projects.
• Prepare Bid documents and identify potential suppliers.
• Coordinate with Hatch legal team to negotiate contracts and resolve conflicts with vendors.
• Conduct and present bid evaluation with commercial and technical analysis.
• Place orders onto suppliers and expedite purchase orders.
• Prepare estimates for procurement support and review invoices.
