The ideal candidate has over 15 years of experience in the nuclear industry and a BSME degree. Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in the nuclear power industry.
• Experience with nuclear power uprates and/or turbine retrofit projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform consulting level work for power uprates in the nuclear industry.
• Develop engineering proposals and cost estimates.
• Lead and mentor junior engineering staff on power plant engineering technical tasks.

Skills

Expertise in thermodynamics

Experience in nuclear power uprates

Technical report writing

Working knowledge of codes and standards

Proficiency with MS Office applications

Strong problem-solving skills

Education

BSME from an ABET accredited program

MSME from an ABET accredited program (valued)
