Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the nuclear power industry.
• Experience with nuclear power uprates and/or turbine retrofit projects.
• Strong interest in numerical computations and problem solving.
• Working knowledge of mechanical engineering design codes and standards.
• Ability to prepare calculations and reports.

Responsibilities

• Consult on power uprates in the nuclear industry.
• Develop engineering proposals and cost estimates.
• Manage resources and develop task completion estimates.
• Review calculations related to heat balances and plant hazards.
• Lead and mentor junior engineering staff.
