Qualifications

• Two-year AMA approved Radiologic Technology training.
• One-year AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology School.
• Three months orientation in hospital/Nuclear Medicine department.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear studies and procedures.
• Operates all specialized equipment in Nuclear Medicine.
• Reconciles, acquires and processes images in the PACS system.
• Maintains safety regulations and patient disposition records.
• Provides explanations to patients and information to attending physicians and radiologists.
