Job summary

CardioOne is looking for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their MCI East practice in Hinsdale, Illinois. The role involves delivering patient care and working collaboratively with RNs and MDs to enhance wellness.

The ideal candidate should have experience with PET and SPECT, state licensure, and be ARRT Registered or NMTCB Certified. Excellent communication skills and knowledge of Nuclear Medicine equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience preferred.
• PET preferred and SPECT required.
• State licensure in good standing required.
• ARRT Registered or NMTCB Certified required.
• Basic Life Support (ACLS preferred) required.

Responsibilities

• Corroborate patient's clinical history with procedure.
• Prepare patient for procedures, minimizing anxiety.
• Administer radio pharmaceuticals as prescribed.
• Operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.
• Minimize exposure using radiation protection principles.
• Evaluate images and data for technical quality.
