Job summary

Providence Facey Medical Foundation in Thousand Oaks is seeking a Technical Specialist to plan, direct and coordinate all technical activities within the division. You will oversee quality and ensure smooth operation of technical functions, maintaining high standards in patient care and safety.

The role requires California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification, NMTCB or NRT certification, BLS, and 4 years of technologist experience in hospital or imaging settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in the area of technical expertise.
• California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification required upon hire.
• National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or National Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine (NRT) upon hire.
• Within 30 days of hire: BLS - American Heart Association.
• 4 years' experience as a technologist in a hospital or imaging center.
• Technical experience in a hospital/healthcare environment.

DescriptionUnder the supervision of the Supervisor or Management, the Technical Specialist plans, directs and coordinates all technical activities performed in the division of technical expertise/practice. The Technical Specialist is responsible for all quality and technical functions for that specific division.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in the area of technical expertise.
• Upon hire: California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification.
• Upon hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board orUpon hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 4 years' experience as a technologist in the area of expertise in a hospital setting or Imaging Center.
• Technical experience in hospital/healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years' experience as a technologist in the specified field.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
