Job summary

Constellation is seeking an expert Nuclear Engineer to perform advanced engineering tasks in support of plant operations and safety analyses. You will lead technical projects, conduct thorough reviews, and ensure compliance with industry codes and regulations.

Ideal candidates have a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and strong collaboration across teams to improve reliability and reduce costs while supporting outages and design modifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 10 years of engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer Registration is preferred.
• Familiarity with industry codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced nuclear engineering and technical tasks in support of nuclear plant operations.
• Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses for technical projects.
• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering activities related to plant safety, reliability, maintainability, and availability.
• Ensure configuration management and use of standard design criteria, practices, and codes in plans and specifications.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
• Provide initial or complete task management of engineering issues.
• Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Support plant design modifications, testing and problem solving.
• Ensure all engineering products comply with safety analyses, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and coordinate supervisory activities related to engineering personnel and budgets.
