Job summary

Constellation seeks an experienced nuclear engineering professional to perform advanced engineering tasks in support of nuclear plant operations. You will lead technical projects, conduct analyses, and ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with industry codes.

Responsibilities include independent research, design optimization, and coordination of engineering activities across budgets and schedules to meet customer needs and policy requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 10 years of engineering experience.
• Demonstrated technical leadership experience (e.g. Duty team lead, inspection lead), teamwork and leadership attributes.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced nuclear engineering and technical tasks in support of nuclear plant operations.
• Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technical projects.
• Provide technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering activities related to plant safety, reliability, maintainability, and availability ensuring compliance with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.
• Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work ensuring proper configuration management and that standard design criteria, practices and codes are used.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
• Provide initial or complete task management of engineering issues.
• Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
• Support plant design modifications, testing and problem solving.
• Ensure all engineering products meet applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.
