Job summary

nVent is seeking a senior supply chain leader to drive the sourcing and execution for its most critical new product programs from concept through serial production. You will act as the primary supply chain liaison for key accounts and program issues, coordinating with engineering, quality, and program leadership to align supplier capabilities with roadmaps.

The role requires a track record of leadership in sourcing, NPI, and complex multi-million-dollar contracts, with travel around 10%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
Experience leading teams in sourcing, supply chain or NPD/NPI.
Strong strategic thinking and cross-functional influence with engineering and program leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead supply strategy for key new product programs from idea to serial production.
Serve as the single supply chain point of contact for key account customers and program issues.
Mobilize category sourcing, supplier quality, and NPI specialists to meet milestones.
Lead supplier selections, vet new suppliers, and bring program intelligence into negotiations.
Align supplier capabilities with product roadmaps and engineering forums.
Deliver cost and productivity commitments via early sourcing and DFM initiatives.
Own capacity, ramp, tooling, and supply risk readiness across the portfolio.
