Job summary

Neptune Technology Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer NPI to lead quality planning during new product introductions.

You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, and customer teams to ensure products meet requirements and regulatory expectations. You will conduct risk assessments, drive PFMEA/DFMEA activities, and mentor junior engineers while steering process improvements for better quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, with a focus on new product introduction.
• Certifications: CQE or similar certification is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485).
• Experience with risk management tools and methodologies (DFMEA, PFMEA).
• Experience with GD&T, APQP, PPAP, and Statistical Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality planning for new product introductions, aligning with design, manufacturing, and customer specs.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies during product development.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Provide direction and approval for critical reviews (Design Inputs, D&V, Technical & Design Reviews, manufacturing readiness, risk management)
• Champion DFMEA/PFMEA/Control Plan activities to reduce product risk
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to mitigate quality risks in development
• Provide training and mentorship to junior quality engineers and team members on quality practices
