Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of related design or product development experience.
• Experience with centrifugal compressor components is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design ownership: Independently develop and release mechanical designs for centrifugal compressor systems and components, including 3D models, drawings, bills of material, and design documentation.
• Product development leadership: Translate product requirements into validated design solutions with cross-functional teams, driving decisions to closure.
• Technical accountability: Define and document mechanical design, tolerances, manufacturability, serviceability, and design documentation for new or improved products.
• Customer interaction: Act as technical point of contact for internal and external customers, communicating design intent and constraints clearly.
• Product validation: Build prototypes for pre-production testing and verification, incorporating lessons learned into the design.
• Travel: Ability to travel, up to 5%.
