Littelfuse is seeking an experienced Senior NPD Engineer to lead the development, validation, and commercialization of innovative circuit protection products. The role emphasizes new technology initiatives and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customers.

You will drive design from concept through market introduction, develop test plans, analyze results, and contribute to cost optimization and continuous improvement efforts in a global team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years designing electrical power fuses or circuit protection products.
• Strong knowledge of fuse design principles and circuit protection technologies.
• Experience with industry standards and third-party certification (UL or equivalent).
• Manufacturing environment experience and product industrialization.
• Proven project management with ability to lead multiple development activities.

Responsabilités

• Lead design, development, testing, and commercialization of new circuit protection products.
• Develop concepts, prototypes, and engineering solutions.
• Create mechanical specs, drawings, design docs, and cost estimates.
• Conduct verification/validation, with test plan development and execution.
• Analyze results and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Drive cost reduction and product optimization initiatives.
• Research new materials, technologies, and industry trends for innovation.
• Procure samples, build prototypes, and perform testing to validate concepts.
• Prepare technical reports and project updates for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional teams for launches.
• Interface with customers to understand requirements and develop solutions.
• Participate in project reviews and report progress to leadership.
• Support compliance with industry standards and third-party certification.
