The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is seeking a senior accounting leader to serve as Financial Reporting Manager. This role drives accurate financial reporting for ASHA and its affiliates, ensuring compliance with not-for-profit standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include guiding accounting policy, overseeing audits, and advancing efficiency in financial processes and systems to support ASHA's mission and long-term sustainability.

Competenze

• Not-for-profit accounting familiarity.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP for not-for-profit entities.
• Experience with enterprise financial systems and reporting tools.

Mansioni

• Lead the preparation, analysis and interpretation of financial reporting for ASHA and its affiliates ensuring timely, accurate information.
• Provide strategic training and technical support to Finance staff on accounting issues and regulatory changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, automation, and accounting systems to enhance efficiency and controls.
• Oversee grants management compliance across federal, state, and grantor regulations throughout the grant lifecycle.
• Provide continuity of financial reporting operations and technical expertise to support departmental priorities.
• Lead fixed asset and lease accounting ensuring US GAAP and IRS Form 990T compliance.
• Support the annual audit and evaluate accounting policies and internal controls for compliance and efficiency.
• Oversee Federal Election Commission reporting and related internal controls.
