Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Outsourced Accounting Team. You will work with clients remotely, performing complex account reconciliations, financial statement prep, and analysis under the supervision of an Accounting Manager.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in accounting and 3+ years of experience as a staff or senior accountant, with strong Excel and accounting software skills. Minnesota/Illinois ranges apply; other geographies vary.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience as a Staff or Senior accountant or equivalent.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Complete non-complex and some complex account reconciliations and recording transactions.
• Prepare and independently review client financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and general ledger.
• Prepare and review financial and statistical reports, analyzing unusual items on financial reports and notifying Accounting Manager when necessary.
• Able to prepare and/or review tax returns, payroll tax, and payroll reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist with projects for audit, due diligence, system selection, and other consulting projects.
• Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of accounting software packages.
• Gain a thorough understanding of the financial operations of our clients in a variety of industries.
