Metro YMCAs is seeking a senior Controller to oversee day-to-day accounting, ensure integrity of financial reporting, and strengthen internal controls across multiple locations. You will partner with CFO, HR, Operations, and external auditors to drive compliance and sound financial decision-making.

The role requires 7–10 years of nonprofit accounting experience, CPA or advanced degree preferred, and a proven track record in audits and financial closes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• CPA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, nonprofit experience a plus.
• Experience leading audits and managing close processes.
• Experience in a multi-location or complex organization.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, and balance sheet activities.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closes with GAAP compliance.
• Prepare internal financial statements, management reports, and schedules.
• Support CFO with variance analysis and trend reporting.
• Lead audit preparations and liaise with external auditors.
• Maintain strong internal controls and policy documentation.
