Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and close activities for a mission-driven nonprofit. This hands-on role emphasizes accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accounting transactions within the general ledger.
• Support monthly and annual financial close processes.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with financial reporting and revenue tracking activities.
• Coordinate documentation and schedules for audits and compliance reviews.
• Support grant, contract, and funding-related accounting functions.
• Help ensure accurate financial records and reporting deadlines are met.
