Job summary

Enel North America, Inc. is seeking a Principal Analyst, Nodal Power Markets in a hybrid role based in Andover, MA.

You will join the Market Analytics & Strategies group within Risk Management and Strategy to develop and maintain nodal market views across ERCOT and SPP, integrating nodal modeling with broader market analyses. You will quantify risks, support asset management decisions for renewable projects, and contribute to policy and market data efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (Engineering, Finance, Math, Statistics, Power, Economics and/or Business)
• Advanced degree may count towards experience
• Strong understanding of nodal market fundamentals and production cost modeling

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on nodal price formation and congestion pricing on the fundamental modeling team
• Develop and maintain production cost and powerflow forecast models for ERCOT and SPP nodal markets
• Analyze market risk around congestion at key locations in ERCOT and SPP
• Quantify commercial risks related to PPAs and merchant exposure with changing fundamentals
• Provide market insights to support asset management and hedging strategies
