Job summary

AnaVation seeks a Tier 2 Network Operations professional to support enterprise networks, troubleshoot routers, switches, and cryptographic devices, and perform root cause analysis. The role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility, CCNA, IAT II, and 10+ years of experience, including TACLANE and ISE proficiency.

You will implement STIGs, participate in upgrades, and work independently across multiple locations, ensuring high availability and secure configurations.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility.
• IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
• CCNA certification.
• 10+ years in network operations/administration; degree may substitute for 5 years of experience.
• Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper network devices.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, 802.1x.
• In-depth knowledge of KG-175 TACLANE configuration and maintenance.
• Working knowledge of Cisco ISE.
• Ability to troubleshoot, analyze incidents, and resolve tickets with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 network operations support across enterprise locations, including configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and cryptographic devices.
• Resolve tickets and perform root cause analysis for network outages; support upgrades and new network implementations.
• Develop network SOPs and implement STIG requirements; conduct site surveys as needed.
• Work independently to resolve complex network issues, including remote locations.
