Job summary

Culper Technology is seeking a Senior Data Flow Engineer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will design, troubleshoot, and optimize complex data flows using Apache NiFi and related tools, ensuring compliance and performance across mission systems.

You’ll move existing data flows to a virtual cloud environment, review DMRs, and collaborate with Operations and engineering to implement robust, scalable solutions. On-call rotations apply, with occasional on-site support.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph.
• Minimum 14+ years of Systems Engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; substitutions allowed for five additional years of experience.
• Experience with mission systems and data formats.

Responsibilities

• Design, troubleshoot, and optimize complex data flows with NiFi.
• Review and process Data Flow Management Requests (DMRs).
• Move data flows from hardware to a cloud environment and define requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to ensure compliance and performance.
• Provide on-call support on a rotating schedule.
