Job summary

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification required.
• Maintain 10 contact hours of education every two years.
• Recent clinical experience in a comparable setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides independent care to patients within a unit, serves as clinical resource for the team.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to plan and coordinate care addressing patient and family needs.
• Supports charge nurse decisions and acts as charge nurse when needed.
• Participates in Performance Improvement, Evidence Based Practice, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Precepts and mentors new nurses and students.
