Qualifications

• 7 years of experience as an editor and manager in a news role.
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
• Effective change management skills and ability to help drive the group.
• Demonstrated ability to unpack complicated legal and government actions and help reporters make them interesting.
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and influence news reporting and editing.

Responsibilities

• Set coverage priorities for your team and allocate resources to own top stories.
• Coordinate graphics, video, newsletters and data to present stories effectively.
• Work with reporters to ensure quality journalism on assigned stories.
• Help your team develop real-time news delivery skills.
• Develop strategies to attract more eyeballs to Bloomberg content.
• Coordinate with Bloomberg News counterparts.
