Job summary

The Betthauser Neuroimaging Lab at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in Madison, WI invites a Research Analyst II to advance NIH-funded studies in neuroimaging and biomarkers related to Alzheimer’s disease. The role centers on statistical modeling, data integration, and cross-disciplinary collaboration with the lab team.

Responsibilities include leading manuscript writing and presenting findings at scientific meetings, mentoring trainees, and translating complex results into actionable

Qualifications

• Evidence of at least 3+ manuscripts publications as first or senior author.
• Experience in a team environment, academic or scientific research group.
• Experience handling large datasets with data cleaning and QC.
• Experience with at least one programming language (R, SAS or Stata).
• Experience developing statistical analysis plans and data visualizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead writing and publication of manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals.
• Present abstracts at scientific meetings and defend findings.
• Analyze and summarize results; present to internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor lab staff and students, including postdocs and undergraduates.
