Job summary

The Betthauser Neuroimaging Lab at the University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking a Research Analyst II to apply temporal modeling to neuroimaging and biofluid biomarkers in Alzheimer's disease research. This role emphasizes publication and peer‑reviewed work while collaborating across a multidisciplinary team.

You will lead manuscript writing, present abstracts at scientific meetings, analyze complex data, and mentor students and staff onsite in Madison.

Qualifications

Evidence of at least 3 or more manuscript publications as first or senior author.
At least 1 year in a team research environment, academic or scientific.
Experience with large datasets (hundreds to thousands of participants) including QC.
Experience with programming for data analysis (R/SAS/Stata).
Experience developing statistical analysis plans and data visualizations.

Responsibilities

Lead writing and publication of manuscripts in peer‑reviewed journals.
Lead presenting abstracts at scientific meetings and disseminate findings.
Analyze and summarize results; present research to stakeholders.
Mentor postdocs, graduate and undergraduate trainees; provide scientific support.
