Job summary

Qualifications

• BE/ME/MCA in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in complex product testing with BRAS and L2/L3 protocol testing.
• Strong understanding of OSI Model and TCP/IP.
• Deep hands-on in configuration/qualification of PPP, PPPoE, DHCP, HTTP, RADIUS, AAA, L2TP, PWHT, FWA, IGMP, GRE, 802.3ad.
• Knowledge of IS-IS, OSPF, BGP, QoS, Multicast, MPLS, VRF routing.
• Strong automation skills with Python and Robot Framework, incl. GenAI-based implementations.
• Proficiency with test tools like Ixia and Spirent.
• Analytical, collaborative, and proactive problem-solving traits.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Experience writing white papers or engaging in tech forums is desirable.
• Experience filing IDs/patents is a plus.
• Demonstrated ownership and leadership in complex features.
• Strong team player mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and automate highly complex feature test plans in BRAS areas with deep protocol knowledge.
• Review MRDs, PDDs, and FSDs for assigned and peer RLIs.
• Collaborate with Publications to review/refine feature documentation.
• Support Beta teams during adoption cycles and troubleshoot Beta issues.
• Partner with Product Management to identify deployment scenarios across customer environments.
• Handle complex customer queries and escalations.
• Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Author white papers on technology domains and test methodologies.
• Mentor SysTest team members across tech areas.
• Deliver technical presentations to the SysTest organization.
• Suggest improvements to system test processes.
• Assist in reducing CFDs via proactive validation and process improvements.
• Drive GenAI-based innovation and patent submissions.
