Job summary

Fusion is seeking a Network Systems Engineer to provide technical oversight, design and maintain secure connectivity across campus networks and ICS domains. The role emphasizes RMF/NIST guidance, enterprise VPNs, fiber/CAT6 cabling, and hardening architectures in DoD‑oriented environments.

The engineer will lead multi‑vendor configurations (Cisco/FortiGate/ Juniper), assess risk, and collaborate with IT/OT teams to ensure scalable, compliant infrastructure and rapid incident response.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, CS, IT or related field preferred.
• Ten+ years in network engineering with security standards emphasis.
• Certifications NSE/CCNP/CISSP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Architect, configure, and manage routing, switching, and firewall hardware.
• Design and maintain Enterprise VPN architectures (IPsec).
• Configure and manage digital encryptors and RMF/NIST artifacts.
• Review designs and oversee fiber/CAT6 cabling and network deployments.
• Coordinate with IT/OT teams to ensure scalable, secure networks.
