SEAKR Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Network Engineer to lead embedded network architectures for space applications. You will own end-to-end development, from concept to delivery, and drive requirements and test procedures in a lab environment.

The role emphasizes leadership of diverse engineers, with onsite work and hybrid flexibility. Strong background in Python/C/C++, Linux, and networking standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience with emphasis in network systems.
• Expert networking standards knowledge incl. MPLS, IPv4/IPv6 RFCs; tools like Wireshark, Netconf, GNS3 or containerlab.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-171, Zero Trust architectures, cryptographic systems, IKEv2, PKI, TLS, VPN.
• Fundamental Linux kernel/OS concepts; software and firmware development.
• High proficiency in Python, C and/or C++.
• Ability to track and manage system requirements; develop test procedures.
• Proven leadership in a diverse team of engineers in embedded systems.
• Direct hands-on hardware integration in lab environments from bring-up to testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams across programs through full lifecycle development from concept to delivery.
• Maintain schedules and roadmaps for team efforts.
• Serve as technical expert for networking products.
• Lead integration of networking products in a lab environment.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to plan and execute projects.
• Own scope and drive success via product ownership, backlog, and team leadership.
• Develop and track requirements for existing and new product efforts.
• Drive complex test programs for system compliance to networking standards and space flight qualification.
