Job summary

SEAKR Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff DSP Engineer to lead high‑end DSP efforts for space electronics. You will define architectures, guide algorithm development, and translate DSP ideas into hardware implementations, including FPGA/ASIC paths.

You will mentor engineers, run design reviews, and drive risk trades across programs while communicating complex concepts to customers and senior leadership. A TS-like rigor applies to this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline; 12+ years experience, Master’s preferred.
• Extensive DSP architecture, algorithm development, implementation, integration and verification.
• Experience leading on complex DSP systems and technical trade studies.

Responsibilities

• Define and advance DSP solutions across programs and initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership across architecture, requirements, and verification.
• Mentor DSP engineers and foster consistent engineering practices.
• Communicate risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations to leaders and customers.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to align DSP direction with business goals.
