Piper Companies is looking for a Senior Network Specialist to join a DoD consulting company. This position is onsite at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD for the HITS-R contract.

Essential Duties of the Senior Network Specialist:

1. Provides routine testing and analysis of network facilities.
2. Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
3. Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
4. Troubleshoot network systems and performance as necessary.

Qualifications of the Senior Network Specialist:

1. Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience, Associate's degree and 6 years of experience, or 8 years of experience without a degree.
2. Experience with Cisco networking equipment such as routers and switches.
3. Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
4. Experience with IPv4 or IPv6 protocol is required, along with level 3 network protocols.

Compensation for the Senior Network Specialist:

1. $100,000 - $140,000 (based on experience).
2. Comprehensive benefit package including Cigna Medical, Cigna Dental, Vision, 401k with ADP, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, paid holidays.
