Canon USA is seeking a Senior Network Solutions Specialist (Sr Specialist, Network Sols). The Senior Network Solutions Specialist will perform solution implementations for comprehensive solutions addressing a diverse range of document-centric customer business problems. These solutions encompass document imaging, document management, document workflow, document distribution, cost accounting, and other related services.

Within this context, the Engineer is primarily responsible for providing post-sales support and implementation services as well as managing FedRAMP services, Salesforce development, and fleet management administration.

This position is full time and is considered virtual. The office will be open 5 days a week; however you will not be required to report to the office unless there is a specific business need. Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.

Your Impact

The position responsibilities span from supporting FedRAMP operations to deploying Enterprise content management and supporting updates to our Salesforce and Fleet management systems. Listed below are the daily responsibilities for supporting our FedRAMP operations.

  • Vulnerability scanning / management
  • Tenable Nessus (Internal)
  • Qualys Web App Scan (External)
  • Based on the results from the above:
    • Create JIRA ticket for each relevant finding (non windows update)
    • Attempt to resolve any of the findings
    • If not able to fix finding / vulnerability - escalate JIRA ticket to senior members of the team
  • POAM document management
  • Update the POAM document (excel) - with the monthly findings (non Windows update)
  • Update status of findings as needed in an ongoing basis
  • Quarterly Baseline scanning
  • Tool used: Tenable Nessus - STIG baseline scans
  • Based on Baseline findings:
    • Open JIRA tickets
    • Attempt to resolve via GPO updates / registry key modifications
    • Escalate to senior members of team if unable to resolve
  • Symantec End Point Management (SEPM)
  • Manage SEPM server
  • Run updates
  • Monitor dashboard
  • Manage SEPM clients on all servers
  • Deploy clients as needed
  • Verify latest version is deployed
  • Vendor liaison
  • Work with vendors (Broadcom for SEPM, Tenable for Nessus, Qualys for Qualys as needed
About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 to 8 years of related experience
  • Proficiency in tools like Nessus, Qualys to identify and assess system weaknesses
  • Strong experience with Symantec End Point Management (SEPM)
  • Security Frameworks: Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and other industry standards for structured risk management
  • SIEM & Monitoring Tools: Experience with platforms like Splunk, IBM QRadar, or ArcSight for real-time threat detection and log analysis
  • Threat Modeling & Risk Assessment: Ability to anticipate vulnerabilities and design mitigation strategies
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, GPO, Active Directory, SQL Server, and SQL Management Studio
  • Must be available to work beyond standard hours as required
  • Up to 15% travel occasionally with 2-3 overnights stays

In accordance with applicable law, we are providing the anticipated base salary range for this role: $92,210 - $138,080 annually
